Universal chuck clamping system
Wilhelm Blessing GmbH & Co. KG are the creators and manufacturers of the Evoflex3 universal chuck. Based in Ostfildern near Stuttgart, Germany, Blessing manufacture specialised clamping solutions. Development in customised workholding saw the instigation of the Evoflex3 universal chuck system. This allows the customer to change from a traditional 3 jaw chuck to a collet chuck extremely quickly with high precision. The main advantage is a massive reduction in changeover and setup time between workholding best principles keeping spindles turning making components. With the addition of the internal mandrel adaptor customers realise true flexibility with the ability of both external and internal clamping. In true Blessing style the customisation of the Evoflex3 continues to grow with further collet types and workholding adaptors being added to the range.
